The Omada for Joint and Muscle Health program includes a special kit with equipment to use during physical therapy. As you go through your therapy, your physical therapist can teach you how to use some or all of the things in the kit. Not every program needs every item in the kit. If you have any questions, just ask your physical therapist!
Here's what's inside the kit:
- A rubber ball: This is firm and can be used to press on sore or tight muscles.
- A phone stand: This holds your phone during therapy activities. To use it, push the middle part (it has "Omada" on it) backward to make it stand up. Place it on a flat surface and rest your phone on the front part. You can change how your phone is angled by moving the back part of the stand.
- A door anchor: This is for using resistance bands. Close the door on the black strap so the foam part is on the outside of the door and the metal loop is on the inside of the door. You can attach your bands to the loop. Make sure the door is shut tightly before you use the anchor.
- Two resistance bands: These are for exercise. They have loops at the ends. Sometimes you’ll need to rub or squeeze the ends to open the loops. The orange band is easier to stretch than the blue one.
- A mesh bag: This is for keeping all your exercise things together. Your physical therapist will tell you which equipment you'll use for your program.
