If you are using the BioTel Care blood glucose meter: It uses a rechargeable battery. It can be charged and discharged hundreds of times, but eventually the battery will lose its charge. If you notice significant reduction in the duration of your meter’s operating time, please contact support.
If left unused, a fully charged battery will lose its charge over time.
If you are using a different type of glucose meter: If it runs out of battery, please consult the manufacturer of your glucose meter directly, and/or refer to their website, or instruction guide. If you cannot find your instruction guide, call your blood glucose meter manufacturer, and they can provide you with a new one if it is available.
